Our Story

Founded in 2022, Dope Women Pray was born out of a simple desire — to create a safe and empowering space where women could be both real and rooted in faith. It began with a vision to remind women that prayer isn’t just a moment, it’s a lifestyle. Through our devotionals, journals, and faith-based products, we’re helping women build consistent prayer lives and deeper relationships with God — one page, one prayer, one breakthrough at a time.

Meet The Founder

Dope Women Pray was birthed out of a personal journey — one that began in pain but bloomed into purpose.

In 2011, I found myself in an abusive relationship where prayer was the only thing keeping me afloat. It wasn’t something I fully understood at the time, but in my lowest moments, prayer became my lifeline — a quiet whisper between me and God when I had no one else to talk to. Even after that season, I struggled with being consistent. I prayed when I needed help, but not always from a place of relationship.

Everything changed in 2020 and 2021 when I became a mother navigating my son’s developmental delays. That season forced me to lean on God in a new way — not just out of routine, but out of dependence. It was in those long nights of worry and prayer that my faith deepened, and I began to see how powerful prayer truly is when it comes from the heart.

Then, as I prepared to become a wife to a minister in 2021–2022, as well as become a minister myself, prayer took on an even greater meaning. It became the foundation of my home, my marriage, my motherhood, and my purpose. What started as survival became intimacy — a lifestyle of constant communication with God.

From that journey, Dope Women Pray was born — a movement created to remind women that no matter what you’ve walked through, prayer still works. It heals. It transforms. It anchors. My hope is that every woman who encounters this brand feels seen, strengthened, and stirred to deepen her own prayer life — because if God could restore me through prayer, He can do it for you too.
